New Churchyard

The churchyard is almost full and an application has been made to formally close it and the final date will be announced shortly but is expected to be in April 2011. This will mean the only burials, in the future, that can be made in the existing churchyard will be those plots that are designated as double plots but have not yet been filled and also cremated ashes into an existing grave where space permits.

The Parish council has acquired a piece of land to the east side of the Church as a new Cemetery and all requests for burial in there will need to be made to the Parish Clerk.
