Our sincere thanks go to Eric for his humongous effort, time and support, ” you always give 100%” which is very much appreciated.

On Saturday 10th August 2013 Mr Colin Screeton kindly presented the church with CD copies of stories told by the two last remaining fishermen of Paull, these recordings were made in 1985. The voices are Mr Sam Pickering and Fred Gorbutt.
Members of the above families were present and village people came along with photographs, it was a great nostalgic afternoon. Volunteers of the church would like to thank Colin and his friends for sharing their thoughts and memories. ” It is good to think we have a record of what those days were like and what the culture of the village was years ago”.
