All Souls’ Service of Remembrance

simple-dove-wallpaper-1195513-sSt Andrew’s: Paull Village Church are holding a service of remembrance for those who have lost loved ones in 2013 or over the past years.

You are welcome and warmly  invited to the service which will be led by Rev’d  Ian Blyth on the 27th October at 3pm at the church.  During the service you will have a chance to say prayers for your loved ones before God and light a candle (a light which shines in the darkness and offers you love) for those you hold close to your heart

Refreshments will be offered afterwards, it would be lovely if you could stay and chat for a while, we look forward to seeing you

Paull Village Remembrance Day

poppy-field-1194114-sSt Andrew Church members are joining the children of Paull Primary School at the school,  on the 11th November at 11am for a short service of remembrance led by the school teachers and children.  The children and adults attending will stand out side  by the ROLL of HONOUR list of those who lost their lives during the war years .  three-poppy-flowers-1382008-s

The Walking to Health group who meet at the church on a Monday will also walk to this event and join with the children to remember those lost.

Thank God for our Heroes.  We will remember them

The Coffee shop within the church

1208804_cupcake_logoThe Coffee shop within the village church will be closing soon for the winter months

The last day you can visit us is Saturday 26th October 2013 – 2 till 4pm (the night the clocks change and we get an extra hour in bed, fantastic!)

If you can not make it before then, thank you for supporting us through out the summer. We have loved your company and have made some great friends.  We look forward to seeing you again next year when we open in March 2014, I am sure you will have lots to tell us about

Sunday 10th November – 3pm Remembrance Service at the Memorial led by Rev’d Ian Blyth

Sunday 17th November – 11am – Morning Prayer led by Mr Peter Oakes

Sunday 24th November – 3pm – Evening Prayer led by Rev’d Ian Blyth

Sunday 1st December – 11am –  Family Service led by Rev’d Ian Blyth

Please stay & join us for refreshments after the service.

St Andrew church HARVEST FESTIVAL CELEBRATION– A very big thank you to EMMA at the HUMBER TAVERN for gifting the supper.

Emma’s generous giving helped raise £376— We sincerely thank all those who did support and those who gave generously.  It was a great night and fabulous atmosphere.  The short service led by Rev’d Ian Blyth was a brilliant success and the singing nearly lifted the roof — well done
