Happy Christmas

St Andrew church volunteers and supporters wish everyone a great Christmas.

Give yourself time to stop and reflect on all the good things that have happened in 2013, say a thank you prayer, but also remember those who are struggling and  the children whom are shown no love.

Westminster Abbey

WestminsterWhat a day to remember.  On the 28th November, 2013, Kay, Joyce and Mandy celebrated the nomination of St Andrew as  a favourite church in a national competition, the service was held at Westminster abbey.  The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester where in attendance along with the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Justin Welby Archbishop of Canterbury who gave the address.  The  Westminster special service choir  sounded fantastic and helped create a magical atmosphere.

The National Churches Trust supported St Andrew Church with a £10,000 grant for the refurbishment’s in 2009 of which we were most grateful. Their support helped bring the church into the 20th century and the birth of the coffee shop within the church which is open March to October on Saturdays and Sundays 2 till 4pm, the coffee shop  attracted over two and a half thousand people in 2013WestMinster
