Photo Show

The Village Hall and St Andrew Church are hosting a  historic photo night in the village hall.  Photos/slide show are of the village, village life and community people.  Saturday April 7th 2018 at 7pm  Tickets are available from Di Edmundson 01482 891630 – £2 each. Its 75 yrs since the barrage balloon landed on Paull Primary School, this will be mentioned in the photo/slide show.  All welcome so get your ticket booked I am sure they will sell quickly.

Services for February 2018

Sunday 4th February 11am.   Candlemas (The Christian Festival of Lights)/followed by a short communion service for those who want to stay.  Led by Rev’d Philip West.  It would be lovely to see you

Candlemas 2nd February is the ancient festival that marks the midpoint of winter, halfway between the shortest day and the spring equinox.

Candlemas is a traditional Christian Festival that commemorates the ritual purification of Mary, forty days after the birth of her son Jesus.  On this day, Christians remember the presentation of Jesus Christ in the Temple.  Forty days after the birth of a Jewish boy, it was the custom to take him to the temple in Jerusalem to be presented to God by his thankful parents
