Synoptic Gospel Course

The Deanery of South Holderness invites you to Discover the “Synoptic” Gospels: Matthew, Mark, and Luke

Ottringham Village Hall, 7.30pm Thursdays 17th, 24th, 31st January 2019

These gospels are the earliest record we have of Jesus’ Life. We will answer such questions as

  • Why are they so similar and how are they different?
  • Where did the writers get all their information and why did they write?
  • Are they an accurate historical record?
  • Why does Mark finish in such a strange place?
  • Why are there so many prophecies in Matthew?
  • How do we know Luke was a doctor?
  • What is the special inspiration and theme of each gospel?

The presentation will be fascinating, inspiring, easy going and it is open to anyone

Please contact me for more information and to let me know you wish to attend, Philip West 01964 603199 philipwest@pwwest.karoo.co.uk
